Dontation Fund
Donation Fund is being started with the goal of providing sustainable solutions to poverty stricken areas of Southeast Asia. Many people here live off of less than $1 USD a day, and simply giving money to the community does not help. We will be setting up sustainable programs that can continue to run long after we have left.
By bringing in solar and wind power, clean water, and modern farming techniques (among many other programs) we can help the people of these areas help themselves. Since we are extremely small we have no overhead, and all donations go directly to the projects which will be run by a DF volunteer until we have educated the local population with the necessary skills to run it themselves.
Our projects are currently being selected and analyzed for the best possible outcome, and you will be able to see daily updates once we have begun. You choose where your money goes, and you get to see it go to work - live and every day.
We are currently evaluating the best ways to go about this project, and appreciate any input you have. There are many ways to do this, from lending to specific individuals and companies in developing areas, to simply giving to the fund and watching the change take place. We hope to incorporate all of these and more in our goal of distinct change to specific areas.
